This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site, book a call, or message us — and what we do with it. We keep it simple on purpose: we collect what we need to talk with you and build your app, and nothing more.
Information we collect
- Contact information you give us: your name, phone number, and email address when you book a call, fill in a form, or message us.
- Messages you send us: the content of SMS and WhatsApp messages you send to us, so we can reply and keep track of your project.
- Booking information: the date and time you choose when you book a call through our scheduling link.
- Basic site information: standard, anonymous technical details your browser shares when you load a page (such as browser type). We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use your information
- To reply to you, schedule and hold calls, and talk through your app idea.
- To send project updates, reminders, and scheduling messages by SMS or WhatsApp, only as described below.
- To build, deliver, and support the app we are working on with you.
- To keep our records straight and meet our legal obligations.
SMS and WhatsApp messages
If you give us your mobile number and message us, or agree to receive messages from us, we may send you messages by SMS or WhatsApp about your inquiry, your scheduled calls, and your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell your phone number or your message history, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site and talk with you — for example, Twilio, which delivers our SMS and WhatsApp messages, and Google Calendar, which handles call bookings. Those providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact information and message history for as long as we are working with you, and for a reasonable time afterward to answer follow-up questions and keep our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing andrew@castromachines.com, and we will do so unless we need to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of sending messages or storing data over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send highly sensitive information (such as passwords or financial details) by SMS or WhatsApp.
Children
This site and our services are for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of this site or messaging with us after a change means you accept the updated policy.
